March 17th is the Delaware Horse Expo. CPWH Club will be participating in the Parade of Breeds, Celebration of Gait and possibly a clinic on Finding Your Pleasure Gait. Stalls are available for Friday & Saturday night and camp sites are available as well as hotels very close by. We usually go to dinner somewhere Friday & Saturday night.
Sunday, March 18th we will caravan from the Expo over to Cape Henlopen State Park and ride the beach. Ready to Ride at 11am. Bring a snack for in the saddle and lunch for back at the trailers. If you want to ride the beach and want a stall for Saturday night at the Expo you are welcome we just ask that if you are stabling at the Expo barn that you volunteer to help the group on Saturday during the Expo.
Stalls are $25/night and include bedding. Camp sites are available as well for those who want to camp I believe camp sites are $25/night and include electric & water but I need to confirm the price. The bathrooms may not be open this early in the season so the club usually gets a room at the hotel across the street for those campers that need a nice hot shower. There are several hotels within a half mile of the fairgrounds.
Contact Jennifer Black for more information and forms jennyloumd@gmail.com or 410-279-4830.
Forms will be coming out in the newsletter. I will need all stall reservations, release forms and checks by Feb. 11th so we can send all the info onto the Delaware Expo.
